There are many dental issues that cosmetic dentistry treatments can fix, with examples being misshapen teeth, crooked teeth and discolouration. Regardless of what aspect of your teeth you are unhappy with, you can contact Fiona, our Practice Manager, and she can help answer any questions you may have relating to cosmetic dentistry.
Our Glasgow West End based Cosmetic Dentists will assess and evaluate your smile and examine your teeth, gums and soft tissues in detail along with your overall face shape and profile. Photographs and x-rays are often taken. After your examination, the Cosmetic Dentist will ensure you have a thorough understanding of your current situation and what is required to achieve the perfect smile. In most cases, a combination of Cosmetic Dentistry techniques will be required to achieve your desired result.
For example, you may require to have your teeth straightened and whitened. You may also require gum levelling if you have uneven gums or you may require composite bonding if you have uneven edges. All the different aspects of how we can improve your smile will be discussed with you along with prices, time scales and the advantages and disadvantages of each option.

Nicola graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1994 and has over 30 years of experience in general dental practice. Previously she worked for almost 25 years in Clarkston in the Southside of Glasgow. She is interested in all aspects of general dentistry and aims to provide quality treatment that will last for her patients.
Nicola is a member of the British Society for Occlusal Studies, a group of dentists with a special interest in treating patients who have problems due to their bites which can lead to headaches, jaw, neck and shoulder pain, as well as wear to their teeth.
She aims to put patients at ease by creating a relaxing and reassuring environment while educating and supporting them to look after their mouths to enhance their overall health.
She is committed to continuing professional development and regularly attends courses.
Outside of dentistry she enjoys running, walking, cycling and skiing with her husband and two daughters.

Julia qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2008. She completed the MFDS qualification in 2010 and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow. She has training in advance restorative work, having completed the two year Tipton Training course in 2017.
She can also offer her patients anti wrinkle injections. She has a great interest in orthodontics, and is able to offer aesthetic fixed orthodontics, having completed the Quick Straight Teeth course in 2016.
Having seen the fantastic results cosmetic orthodontics can provide, she is now undergoing further training in straight wire orthodontics to be able to provide her patients with more complex treatment options. She is keen to provide the best quality of care for her patients, and to be able to offer beautiful cosmetic results combining orthodontic and restorative treatment options.

Katie graduated from Glasgow University in 2002 with Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
Katie has been treating patients in Glasgow's West End for nearly 20 years! During this time she has completed a diploma and is a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties Collage of General Dentistry, undertaken Advanced Dental Training in London and Facial Aesthetics training. She has been providing Invisalign and Sparks clear orthodontic aligners for over 15 years.
She has a keen interest in minimally invasive dentistry as well as general dentistry and enjoys treating all ages of family members.
In her spare time she enjoys yoga, hillwalking and of course spending time with her own family and friends.
I qualified from Glasgow Dental Hospital in 2004 gaining the clinical achievement award for that year.
I have worked at Byres Road Dental Practice for 16 years then recently merging with Devonshire Dental Care.
I enjoy working with patients helping them to achieve better oral health and seeing improved confidence as a result.
I started my dental nurse career back in march 2023 as a trainee dental nurse in Byres Road Dental practice and then merged with Devonshire Dental Care in August 2024.
I am working towards my qualification and sit my exam in June 2025.
My favourite part about the job is my team at Devonshire dental care and communicating with both new and old patients daily.
I have been working with Devonshire dental care since August 2024 I am currently working towards qualifying as a dental nurse I love working with the team and and how well we work together, as well as the structure and stability my job gives. In my spare time I enjoy going for morning walks and listening to music as well as going for meals with family.
Louise began her career in dental nursing over 30 years ago, qualifying in 1992. Since the opening of Devonshire Dental Care, she has been an integral part of the team, bringing experience, skill, and a friendly approach to her role.
Over the years, Louise has witnessed the evolution of dental practices and continues to adapt, ensuring the highest standards of care for her patients. Her dedication and expertise make her a valued member of the practice.
Fun fact - Louise was the dental nurse in an episode of the children’s TV show Balamory which was filmed in Devonshire Dental Care.

Ashleigh qualified in 2023 and joined the Devonshire team in July 2024. She is very keen to learn new skills and was very happy to be introduced to orthodontics at this practice. In her spare time Ashleigh likes anything to do with eating and exploring the west end with her 4-legged companion Harris.
Yasmin has been a dental nurse for 10 years she qualified as a dental nurse in 2017 and recently joined Devonshire dental care in January
In her spare time she enjoys to go on holiday and spend time with friends and family.
Fiona Joined Devonshire Dental practice in Aug 2024 She has been a qualified Dental Nurse for 25 years and has a vast knowledge both clinical and non clinical She was previously the Practice Manager in Byres road dental practice and with the merge she became the practice manager here in Devonshire and now overseas the day to day running of the practice to ensure things go as smoothly as possible for us all
